Frogs and Frogspawn

While still quite cold, the sun has been shining for about a week now and my frogs are groanin’ and a croakin’ out in the back pond.

I built the pond about 15 years ago and no sooner had I filled it with water than it seemed they had taken up residence.

They’ve given us so much pleasure over the years – hibernating and/or returning each year to spawn.  Always plenty of frog activity in our cottage garden during the summer months.
